BOE INTERNATIONAL is the leading European trade show for the event industry and will be presenting a diverse mix of exhibitors between 17 and 18 January 2024 featuring market leaders, trendsetters and niche suppliers from all parts of the event, experiential marketing and MICE industry. The showcase event will offer a comprehensive overview of event equipment, event management, event technology, exhibition stand construction and catering as well as event locations and other event-related services.
Dortmund, 23 August 2023 – On 17 and 18 January 2024, the international experiential marketing show BOE INTERNATIONAL will be marking the start of the new event year in its usual fashion, covering all relevant aspects of live communications. With its international approach fostering cross-national networking within the event industry, the show will present both new and proven products, with propositions and applications for events of all kinds. It will also provide visitors with an extensive forum programme including superb talks, panel discussions and entertainment. As well as well-known suppliers such as NEUMANN & MÜLLER, AVENTEM, LLEYENDECKER, NORDLITE and AXESS (technology), the event equipment suppliers Party Rent, EVENT RENT, eventura, BROICHCATERING, VON HAGEN DESIGN (architecture) and marquee specialist skyliner, numerous event locations have also announced they will be in attendance.
Top venues presenting a diverse range of event options
The World Conference Center Bonn will be back in Dortmund presenting its event facilities for events in its main building and in the former plenary hall for up to 7,000 people. Also the popular MOTORWORLD on the grounds of the historic airport at Butzweilerhof will once again be showing its flexibility for events for up to 4,000 guests. The near-2,300 square metre 4-stroke hangar with its VIP and backstage area, the various conference and meeting rooms and the imposing Historic Reception Hall offer suitable settings for every type of event. With over 40 well-equipped rooms for up to 260 people, the Sparkassenakademie NRW Conference Centre Hörder Burg is once again pulling out all the stops for conferences, meetings, workshops and seminars with a direct view of the lake. The Grand Hall event location on the grounds of the Zollverein UNESCO world heritage site in Essen will be at the show once again. It offers up to 2,500 guests highly modern event facilities combined with industrial charm across 4,000 square metres of event space. As a provider of 'floating' locations, cruise specialist AIDA CRUISES will now be bringing many dream destinations for incentive and group trips to the show. Also in attendance once more will be Greenreb Germany as the official licensee of Topgolf in Germany, Austria, Italy and Switzerland. The concept of sporting entertainment has already established itself across over 80 locations across the world. The holiday park Ferienpark Marissa in the heart of Northern Germany will be exhibiting at BOE for the first time. The high-quality Scandinavian-style furnished holiday homes and holiday flats and the wide range of leisure activities are the perfect complement to the group conference and event offerings. The classic Germany-wide hospitality concept Cafe & Bar Celona and Finca & Bar Celona will also be at the show for the first time. With its beautiful outdoor terraces, lively city centre flair or local recreational quality in countryside settings, it is suitable for short breaks following a workshop or during an incentive trip.
Wide range of topics on stage
The high-quality supporting programme across a variety of stages will be offering expertise and entertainment, with respected experts from the industry and the business world presenting their insights and valuable expertise on current topics in the event sector in over 100 keynote talks and panels. The range of topics reflects trends and innovations in the world of events and ranges from sustainability to artificial intelligence and digital marketing.
On-site events
Personnel development, skills training and advancing young talent are also key topics at BOE, with the BrandEx Fresh and FORUM EVENT formats offering young talent two platforms for gaining their career footholds or making the next career steps in the event industry. BOE Night, an enjoyable entertainment show and networking event, will also be held during the show. The highlight of the evening will be the best-ofs of the agency scene with presentation of the BrandEx Awards for outstanding creative achievements in live communications.
